Las competencias multiculturales del liderazgo en una organización del sector servicios en Bogotá D.C.

Introducción: Esta investigación hace parte de un proyecto en desarrollo, y tuvo el propósito de identificar las competencias multiculturales en el liderazgo en una organización del sector sevicios en Bogotá D.C., estudios recientes destacan que la postpandemia se ha caracterizado por la hiperconectividad tecnológica y las nuevas formas de hacer negocios, así como por crear nuevos productos y servicios. No obstante, se ha comprobado que contar con equipos multiculutrales no garantiza comportamientos de innovación, por ello el liderazgo debe ser culturalmente competente para comprender los grupos exóticos y relacionarse de forma efectiva según sus diferentes estilos de vida, representaciones, tradiciones y valores. Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo con alcance descriptivo, de tipo no experimental con corte transversal. Con relación al instrumento, se aplicó la Escala de compencias multiculturales de líderes del Valle del Cauca (Ospina, 2017). Resultados: Se identificaron las competencias multiculturales del liderazgo en la empresa estudiada, según la ciudad/región de procedencia de estos. Discusión: Las competencias multiculturales en el liderazgo en ámbitos diversos constituyen una de las bases primordiales de la efectividad y la productividad en los equipos diversos. Conclusiones: El liderazgo multicultural cuenta con capacidadades que les distinguen para enfrentar un entorno incierto y complejo, sin embargo estas se deben saber administrar.
