Introduction: This research is part of an ongoing project and aimed to identify multiculutral leadership competencies in a service sector organization in Bogotá D.C., recent studies highlight that the post-panemic era has been characterized by technological hyperconnectiviy and new ways of doing business, as well as creating new products and services. However, it has been proven that having multicultural teams does not garantee innovative behaviors. Therefore, leadership must be culturally competent to understand exotic groups and relate effectively according to their different lifestyles, representations, traditions, and values. Methodology: A quantative approach with a descriptive scope was used, of a non-experimental cross-sectional type. Regarding the instrument, the Multicultural Leadership Competencies Scale of Valle del Cauca (Ospina, 2017) was applied. Results: The multicultural competencies in leadership in diverse environments constitute one of the primary bases of effectiveness and productivity in diverse teams. Conclusions: Multicultural leadership possesses capacities that distinguish them in facing an uncertain and complex enviroment, however, these must be properly managed.
