Pornografia contemporanea: il deepfake come forma di abuso

Resumen

Introduzione: La creazione non consensuale di immagini intime attraverso il deepfake è in aumento. I nudifier, nuovi strumenti di IA che realizzano nudificazioni delle immagini caricate, sono un nuovo metodo di produzione di contenuti che possono essere utilizzati a scopo di abuso. Metodologia: Attraverso un’analisi empirica e qualitativa, abbiamo esaminato l'uso e il risultato di queste applicazioni. Risultati: Gli intervistati hanno mostrato difficoltà nel riconoscere le immagini reali da quelle nudificate e rare forme di deterrenza nell’uso improprio di questi strumenti. Discussione: L'uso di nudifier pone seri problemi etici e legali, evidenziando la necessità di misure deterrenti più efficaci. Conclusioni: È fondamentale sviluppare strumenti e leggi per contrastare l'abuso dei nudifier e proteggere la privacy delle persone coinvolte.

Lorenzo Di Silvestro, Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania

In 2008 he worked at the National Research Council (ITTIG-CNR). In 2014 he received his PhD degree in Computer Science in Catania collaborating with the Visualisierungsinstitut (VISUS) of the University of Stuttgart (Germany). As a research fellow from 2018 to 2020 he works on the project ‘Vision Exploitation for Data Interpretation (V.E.D.I.)’ dealing with behavioural analysis using machine learning techniques and on the GOOGLE DNI-funded project ARIA for the automatic semantic analysis of journalistic texts.

She currently lives and works in Turin where she graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts.
Always a passionate explorer of new technologies, she works mainly as a multimedia artist, teacher and Web Designer.
She is a founding member of Osservatorio Nessuno, an association that deals with the protection of privacy and anonymity in relation to digital technologies.
Pending publication by Eris Edizioni, a book on criticism of the use of technology.
