Introduction: The rapid development of technologies associated with artificial intelligence has transformed both specialized and everyday activities, from the early diagnosis of diseases to daily exercise routines, through tools such as chatbots and pre-trained generative language models. Despite their accessibility and ability to facilitate communication between humans and machines through natural language, fears about their use persist. In this context, this study focuses on creating prompts for journalists and communicators in the audiovisual media outlet TC Televisión. The objective was to identify the needs in the workflows of journalists and communicators and develop a prompt guide. Methodology: The methodology included holding meetings with executives, producers, and journalists to explore their needs, followed by the construction of a guide based on the results of these meetings, whose effectiveness was later evaluated by applying the prompts in real work situations. Results: The results showed that the application of the guide optimized various processes within the media outlet, demonstrating that artificial intelligence can be a valuable tool for journalists and communicators. Conclusions: These professionals can significantly benefit from the use of artificial intelligence in their daily practices.
