Introduction: Project Based Learning (PBL) is a learning methodology in which students are confronted with real-world situations. In this case it is the production of a podcast project for the subject Theory and production of radio. Methodology: Field study carried out with students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Weekly monitoring of the project and two questionnaires were carried out, one at the beginning of the innovation cycle and the other at the end, to compare the results and check the evolution of the students learning. Results: In the data obtained from the questionnaires and the final result of the different exercises, it can be seen that theoretical learning is more deeply rooted in the students when it is accompanied by an exercise with teacher follow-up. Discussions: The assessment of both the exercises and the acquisition of knowledge shows that learning is solid. The professionalising factor of the practice and its follow-up favours the attitude of the students. Conclusions: The starting point of this research is corroborated, Project Based Learning is a fundamental tool in the classroom that improves the absorption capacity of theoretical knowledge.
