Author Biographies

Sonia Viramontes Cabrera , Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas "Francisco García Salinas"

Sonia Viramontes Cabrera studied a degree in Economics at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, in Mexico. He completed his master's degree and doctorate in Philosophy and History of Ideas at the same institution, and has worked as a university professor for 30 years in the areas of language, philosophy and art. His line of research is Art, Education and Aesthetics, and his publications range from myth to philosophy, and from contemporary art to literature. Her work as a researcher has been evaluated and accredited by organizations such as the Program for Professional Teaching Development, for the Higher Type (PRODEP) of the Ministry of Public Education, and by the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (CONAHCYT). Apart from her subjects, she has taught several diploma courses in Art Appreciation and Criticism that link her with the cultural organizations of her state. She was part of the curricular design team for the Bachelor of Arts at the university where she currently works, in addition to supporting as an evaluator of undergraduate and graduate study plans and programs specialized in art. It belongs to the National System of Researchers (SNII) of CONAHCYT, at Level I.

José Daniel Barquero Cabrero , SER, Strategic Economic Relations

The professor, with a doctorate in Economic and Social Sciences from prestigious universities such as the International University of Catalonia, the Camilo José Cela University and other international institutions, is recognized as a leading figure in the academic field. A chartered economist, he has received honors such as the title of honorary doctor from various universities around the world and prestigious recognitions such as the Commendation of the Order of Civil Merit, awarded by the King of Spain, and the European Gold Cross from the Fundación de Fomento. European. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of ESERP Business & Law School and Professor-Professor in Economics and Business at the UOLS-Open University La Salle. He has advised important companies and financial and banking institutions in Spain. In addition, he is honorary president of the European Higher Council of Doctors and a member of prominent scientific academies, sharing research with Nobel Prize winners. He collaborated in the United States with Edward L. Bernays, a public relations pioneer, and in the United Kingdom with Sir Sam Black. His academic work includes books published in seven countries, consolidating his international reputation at institutions such as McGraw-Hill, Deusto and Staffordshire University, among others. His impact transcends disciplines, marking a unique contribution to academia and the professional world.

Elena Domínguez Romero , Complutense University of Madrid

She is a Full Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the Complutense University of Madrid. His recent research covers evidentiality, stance in media discourse, applied linguistics, and teaching innovation. Currently, he co-directs RACISMMAFF, a project on discursive strategies on immigration and racism issues, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and FEDER funds. He has worked on projects such as EUROEVIDMOD, EVIDISPRAG and STANCEDISC, all focused on posture, evidentiality and modality in European languages. His publications include more than 70 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Thinking Skills and Creativity, System, Journal of Pragmatics, and Computer Assisted Language Learning. He has co-edited influential books, such as Transformative Trends in Language Learning (Peter Lang, 2024), Rethinking Multimodal Literacy in Theory and Practice (2023), and Visual Literacy and Digital Communication (2022), along with numerous chapters in publishers such as Routledge, Springer, and DeGruyter. . Her outstanding career includes a solid combination of research and teaching, addressing innovative topics such as multimodal literacy, epistemological modality and stance in linguistic contexts, establishing herself as a reference in her area.
