Introduction: Play is fundamental to fostering an inclusive environment and developing cognitive, social and emotional skills. This study focuses on analysing the benefits of play as a strategy for educational inclusion in Basic Education School #00774 during the period 2023-2024. Methodology: The research adopted a qualitative approach, based on observation and interviews, to interpret the results obtained. The aim was to identify inclusive recreational spaces and determine play strategies to achieve effective inclusion, especially in the school playground, where students from 2nd to 7th grade of EGB interact. Results: The proposal ‘the dynamic playground’ was presented, which consists of the design of inclusive recreational spaces to respond to the playful needs of the students. The proposal seeks to ensure student participation during recess, respecting differences and promoting the recognition of diversity. Conclusions: Play is a powerful tool for educational inclusion, and the implementation of inclusive recreational spaces contributes to the integration of all students in educational, social and cultural activities.
