Abstract

Introduction: The study aims to measure, from the perspective of university students, the level of formative anxiety and assessment of the management carried out by higher education institutions in Ibero-America during the first weeks of confinement before COVID-19. Methodology: The work was based on an online survey applied to 523 students from higher education institutions in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Conclusions: The study points to the need for higher education institutions to promote institutional actions (academic and administrative) that improve the psycho-social well-being of their students.
