Negotiation skills and conflict management in community leaders of Callao, Peru, 2024

Introduction: For citizen participation as a crucial tool for the modernization of the State, state institutions are required to improve the efficiency of public management, especially in the field of social programs. This includes the design and execution of public policies that respond to the planning and execution of social assistance that maximizes the satisfaction of its beneficiaries. Methodology: Through a quantitative approach, the variables of negotiation and conflict management skills are analyzed, carrying out structured surveys with a Likert scale, census sampling, to forty-two participants of a training course on the variables, without distinction of sex, that they live in La Perla, Callao, Peru. Results: The results show the corresponding assessment, with its respective degree of significance. Discussion: The findings that determine the impact of negotiation skills on conflict management in community leaders of Callao are discussed through triangulation. Conclusions: The objectives are achieved and the perception of Peruvian community leaders and their knowledge of negotiation skills are valued.
