Abstract

Introduction: The results obtained in a didactic proposal using the SUNO AI as a educational tool, capable of generating music so that students can exemplify musical forms and genres given in the classroom, are analysed. Methodology: Three different focus groups are implemented in order to collect information on the methodological implementation, students' learning, their self-perception of the learning process and their degree of satisfaction with the activity. Results: Students manifest a high degree of satisfaction with the introduction of AI-based tools, which supplement their low literacy skills and allow them to achieve a high degree of satisfaction, while establishing intra-group interaction environments and their perspectives on their own learning. Discussions: The student body obtains satisfactory results, like other existing research, but divergent behaviours are shown in comparison to others. Conclusions: Learners are capable of using AI-based tools, but a context is needed to learn about their application in other areas of their daily lives in order to maintain an appropriate self-perception of their capabilities.
