Abstract

Introduction: The perspective of the 2030 Agenda, in the complex panorama of diversity, has imposed a review of intervention policies towards people with disabilities, for the development of projects, activities and methodologies aimed at their valorization and professional realization. Methodology: The methodology used is action research, understood as a social process that allows the promotion of best practices, combining the theoretical dimension of the biopsychosocial model and the more operational part applied to targeted job placement mechanisms. Results: The conclusions confirm the importance of codified and shared languages in structuring interventions that reduce the gap between the ability and performance of the person with disabilities, within a specific working context. Discussions: a reflection was started on the real perception of the impact of environmental factors in relation to the "Activity and Participation" component of the ICF, declined in the area of transversal skills to highlight facilitators and barriers on which company Diversity Managers can intervene to encourage paths of inclusion in working contexts. Conclusions: The ICF supports targeted interventions which, starting from a detailed analysis of contexts, reduce the disadvantage of people with disabilities caused by the lack of resources, opportunities or adaptations of the environment.
