Introduction: The objective was to explore the influence of quantitative and qualitative risk factors on the survival of patients with chronic diseases. Methodology: The sample included 120 patients with chronic diseases, with an average age of 55 years. The study is correlational, cross-sectional and prospective. The data were collected at the Callao University Hospital. Questionnaires were used to assess risk factors, as well as specific scales to measure survival and the impact of these factors. The reliability of the instruments was 0.85. Results: 40% of patients showed a high correlation between quantitative risk factors, such as hypertension and diabetes, and a decrease in survival rate. Qualitative factors, such as stress and social support, also had a significant impact, with 35% of patients reporting reduced survival associated with chronic stress. Conclusions: A significant relationship was found between quantitative and qualitative risk factors and the survival of patients with chronic diseases. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive management strategies that address both quantitative and qualitative aspects to improve survival.
