Abstract

Introduction: Dynamic capabilities enable organizations to adapt and thrive in changing environments. This study aims to measure these capabilities in the university context, focusing on absorption, adaptation, learning, and innovation, which are key elements for academic and business competitiveness. Methodology: A modified Delphi method was used to construct and validate the questionnaire. Experts were selected based on their knowledge and experience, and the questionnaire was designed using a Likert scale. The process included two rounds of validation and adjustment, based on response analysis and expert feedback, to ensure the relevance and clarity of the items. Results and Discussion: The results confirmed the instrument’s validity, demonstrating its effectiveness in capturing dynamic capabilities relevant to universities. The research highlights the importance of these capabilities in adapting to a constantly changing academic and business environment and underscores the practical utility of the questionnaire for internal assessments in higher education institutions. Conclusion: The study validates a robust instrument for measuring dynamic capabilities in universities, providing an essential tool for these institutions to evaluate and enhance their capacity for adaptation and innovation. This instrument not only contributes to the theory of dynamic capabilities but also offers a practically relevant application for educational management and strategy.
