Introduction: In a globalized and competitive environment, companies are challenged to enhance the social diversity of their work teams. However, people with disabilities are forced to face several obstacles to find a job. From the consideration that it is the duty of the educational system to transform the exclusionary attitudes of students to avoid social discrimination in the workplace, the university proposes an innovative, participatory and contextualized educational methodology, which enables knowledge and empathy with the employment situation of people with disabilities. All this, from the analysis of reality and social awareness in the commitment to an inclusive society. Methodology: The study is based on an inclusive and intercultural approach, based on the universal design of learning in grades linked to the business environment. A quantitative methodology is used for the analysis and evaluation, using a survey. Results: Perceptions have been challenged, with a satisfactory reception and a change in the perception of this student body linked to the economic and business sphere. Conclusions: This educational methodology has made it possible to increase knowledge about disability, labor inclusion and the contribution of people with disabilities in the workplace.
