This stage, called the fourth revolution, brings together technologies that take advantage of advances in computing to enable real-time and contextual actions, hence the importance of studying the impact that Virtual Assistants with AI have and will have in the educational field. Methodology: This research has focused on quantitative analysis to answer the questions and collect measurable data. Results: The results reflect a diverse student community that is predominantly open to adopting AI-enabled virtual assistants. In light of the results, AI has great potential in higher education. Discussion: However, addressing the ethical and practical challenges identified is vital to ensure that its implementation is effective and beneficial. This involves providing appropriate training and developing clear regulations. Conclusions: This new development poses a significant challenge for universities, as it is already a reality, and its informal adoption may negatively affect the training of future IT professionals.
