Introduction: The effective articulation of social actors is essential in the design of actions to strengthen capacities and improve the competitiveness of productive ecosystems in the territories. Methodology: This explanatory and descriptive work shows the collaborative work dynamics developed by ReaCTÍvate Santander, under the structure of a university Living Lab, to improve innovation in the agricultural sector. Results: This work describes the way in which social actors can articulate to transform their territories economically and socially. Discussion: The inclusion of science and technology is necessary in the agricultural sector where innovation is not immersed in the different links of the value chain. To transform this scenario, a decisive commitment is required from the actors of the regional ecosystem with a view to developing innovative proposals that will make it more dynamic and competitive. Conclusions: The design of programs for productive transformation should be developed through joint efforts to take advantage of available capacities and resources, the implementation of ReaCTïvate Santander is an example of how they can be successfully executed.
