  • The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as users comply with the terms of the license.

Restrictions:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This must be done in a reasonable manner and must not suggest endorsement by the licensor.

  • NonCommercial: The material may not be used for commercial purposes.

  • NoDerivatives: Users may not distribute modified or adapted versions of the original material.

Additionally:

  • No additional restrictions: Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

  • Notices: The license does not apply to elements of the material that are in the public domain or where use is permitted by an applicable exception or limitation.

  • No warranties given: The license may not grant all the permissions necessary for the intended use of the material. Other rights—such as publicity, privacy, or moral rights—may limit how the material can be used.
