Análisis de Depresión a partir de un enfoque de estilo de vida

Introducción: El estudio analiza la relación entre la depresión y los estilos de vida en estudiantes universitarios, considerando variables como edad y género. Se buscó determinar el efecto del estilo de vida en la depresión utilizando Odds Ratio (OR) y el intervalo de confianza (IC) del 95%. Metodología: Se utilizó un diseño correlacional, segmentando datos por género y edad. Se emplearon regresión logística binaria y pruebas de chi-cuadrado con SPSS y R Studio. Se calcularon OR e IC para cuantificar riesgos y se usaron curvas ROC para evaluar los modelos. Resultados: Con la prueba de chi-cuadrado no se halló asociación significativa entre estilo de vida y depresión (χ² = 0.08, p = 0.7). La regresión logística binaria tampoco mostró significancia en la relación entre estilo de vida y depresión (B = -0.04, p=0.475). Discusión: El análisis no encontró una relación significativa entre el estilo de vida y la depresión. La falta de significancia sugiere que otros factores podrían tener un mayor impacto. Conclusiones: El estudio concluye que, aunque el estilo de vida no mostró una asociación significativa con la depresión, la regresión logística y las curvas ROC fueron útiles para evaluar factores de riesgo.
