Programas de Doctorado en Educación: Retos, Avances y Perspectivas Internacionales

Introducción: Este trabajo expone los resultados de un estudio cualitativo realizado con 30 estudiantes de Doctorado en Educación pertenecientes a seis países europeos: Grecia, Rumanía, Hungría, Estonia, Reino Unido y España. Su participación en el International Doctoral Training Programme Autumn, coordinado por distintas universidades y entidades europeas, permitió alcanzar dos objetivos principales: por un lado, identificar las diferencias y similitudes entre los programas de doctorado en Educación; y por otro, comprender los principales desafíos que enfrentan los estudiantes durante esta etapa formativa. Metodología: El método empleado para la recolección de datos fue el focus group. Las intervenciones de los participantes fueron cuidadosamente transcritas y analizadas posteriormente, permitiendo una evaluación crítica de los argumentos expuestos y la formulación de insights pertinentes sobre el proceso doctoral. Resultados: Los resultados obtenidos mediante el análisis temático de los grupos de discusión advirtieron notables variaciones organizativas y curriculares entre los programas de doctorado. Conclusiones: Las conclusiones del estudio refuerzan la necesidad de promover ajustes en los currículos para mejorar la experiencia educativa y la eficacia en la investigación, destacando, particularmente, la importancia de un enfoque flexible ante las necesidades cambiantes de los doctorandos.
