Introduction: Law degrees today face new challenges that require a multidimensional approach, encompassing both national legislation and international regulatory frameworks, the use of new technologies and ethical competences. Methodology: This study analyses the evolution of law education, taking into account the effects of globalisation, the interconnection of international legal frameworks and the new demands of professional practice. Results: Globalisation has transformed the practice of law, requiring lawyers to have both national and international knowledge. Practitioners must be prepared to act in transnational legal contexts, with a global and adapted vision. Conclusions: The need for comprehensive training that includes interaction with foreign and national professionals is highlighted. However, this proposal meets with resistance from professional associations, which still face challenges in integrating these changes.
