Abstract

Introduction: This study addresses the integration of virtual reality (VR) in education, exploring how these emerging technologies can enhance understanding of complex concepts, increase motivation and improve students' learning experience. Methodology: A survey of 313 university students was conducted, assessing their perceptions of the use of VR glasses in the classroom. Data were analysed using descriptive and correlational techniques to identify significant patterns. Results: The findings reveal that using VR in education improves understanding of complex concepts for 78% of students, increases motivation for 85% and provides a more immersive learning experience for 92% of respondents. In addition, there was a high willingness to integrate VR into future educational projects. Discussion: Despite some technical challenges, the results suggest that VR has a strong potential to innovate in education, improving formative quality and student attention. Conclusions: Immersive technologies such as VR can significantly transform traditional educational methods, offering new opportunities for more interactive and effective learning.
