Open Access Policy
EPSIR provides free and open access to its content in accordance with the principles of open access. All materials published in EPSIR are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which means that users have certain freedoms and restrictions in the use of the material:
Freedoms:
- Sharing: Users are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the terms of the license are complied with.
Restrictions:
- Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This must be done reasonably, without suggesting endorsement by the licensor.
- NonCommercial: The material cannot be used for commercial purposes without authorization.
- NoDerivatives: The creation of derivative works or modifications of the original material for distribution is not permitted.
Additionally:
- No additional restrictions: Users may not impose legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising any rights granted by the license.
- Notices: The license does not apply to elements of the material that are in the public domain or whose use is permitted by an applicable exception or limitation.
- No warranties are provided: The license may not provide all the permissions necessary for the intended use of the material, as other rights, such as publicity rights, privacy rights, or moral rights, may limit its use.
Interoperability Protocol
EPSIR has interoperability protocols that allow it to be collected, either wholly or partially, by other systems for access and distribution of content such as repositories or aggregators, for example, OAI-PMH, RSS.
