Resumo

Introduction: The objective of this research is to develop a critical vision to establish the current challenges in the training or teaching exercises of project management. Methodology: To do this, a qualitative approach is used with emphasis on documentary review with a reflective posture which takes into consideration the researcher's own experiences and assumptions to influence the interpretation of the data. To this end, the research is divided into five chapters which are: crucial importance of project management training for organizational success, criticism of traditional project management training approaches, current challenges in project management training, trends and new methodologies in project management training and impact of technology in project management training. Results: Subsequently, a discussion is carried out on the main findings with a propositional perspective, thus allowing us to conclude that project management training currently faces various challenges. Conclusions: However, by deeply analyzing these challenges and implementing effective solutions and recommendations, it is possible to train highly trained and competent professionals in this field.
