Factores clave para el éxito de las microempresas en la costa ecuatoriana en el contexto postpandemia

Introducción: El artículo analiza las competencias empresariales y su impacto en las microempresas de la Costa Ecuatoriana tras la pandemia de COVID-19. Como antecedentes, se destacan la informalidad, limitada capacitación y digitalización previa al período pandémico. El objetivo es identificar factores clave que influyen en el desempeño de estas microempresas. Metodología: Metodológicamente, se realizó un estudio descriptivo y transversal con una muestra de 645 microempresarios de Guayas, Los Ríos y Santa Elena, aplicando análisis factorial exploratorio. Resultados: Los resultados identificaron seis factores principales: gestión operativa, capacitación estratégica, competencias emocionales, innovación, liderazgo y comunicación. Destaca el peso de competencias emocionales (carga factorial 0.702) en la resiliencia empresarial y el rol de metas a corto plazo (0.489) para fomentar la innovación. Discusión: Aunque las diferencias provinciales son mínimas en algunos factores, destacan brechas en liderazgo y competitividad en Los Ríos. Limitaciones incluyen la falta de análisis longitudinal y una personalización insuficiente en programas de capacitación. El estudio concluye que potenciar competencias personales, operativas y estratégicas, junto con programas de capacitación localizados, es clave para la sostenibilidad y competitividad de estas empresas.
