The development of sustainable entrepreneurship through digital tools in students of a university in Lima

Abstract

Introduction: Technological tools such as canvas and wikis allow the communication of entrepreneurial projects that are the student learning outcomes. They demonstrate the development of entrepreneurial skills that are carried out with creativity, and integrate professional training with their workplace. Method: The study is qualitative. It consolidates (as a team) the interdisciplinary sustainable entrepreneurial projects: Nursey school/daycare: Los Ángeles de Dios, healthy living, ornamental mobile nurseries, jute-based crafts made by artisan women. Outcomes: The nursery/daycare project: Los Ángeles de Dios is an undertaking on educational services for children that shows all the services and areas it owns; the healthy living project is about selling healthy dishes that meet social needs; the ornamental mobile nursery project is aimed at various segments such as plant lovers and those who want to improve the business aesthetics; the last project, jute-based crafts made by artisan women, is about selling crafts with original designs that have been made by community women. Discussion: Based on the outcomes, it is demonstrated that technological tools allow the communicating entrepreneurial projects that show the development of entrepreneurial skills of students who start off real problems in their context. Conclusions: Wikis and canvas allow the effective broadcasting of entrepreneurships that comes up from the environment needs, develop social problem solution-based entrepreneurial education, generate economic development in harmony with environmental care.

Author Biography

Aracelly Rubio Pachamango, Cesar Vallejo University

Undergraduate teacher at several Peruvian universities, with a degree in education: specializing in Natural Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with a master's degree in Higher Education and Educational Research and doctoral studies in Environment and Sustainable Development. She has been a specialist in the National Program for teacher education and training in the area of Science, Technology and Environment of the Ministry of Education - Peru. She is coordinator of the curricular experience of Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals at Universidad César Vallejo. She is responsible for the implementation and execution of sustainable projects of University Social Responsibility; she is also a member of the Environmental Committee of Sustainable Peruvian Universities. She has published manuscripts in journals indexed in Scopus and WOS.
