Introduction: This research proposed to apply the biphasic model in five electronic sports (e-sports) competitors from La Comunidad del Amiibo (LCA) in Querétaro, comparing the results with those of a control group. The study highlights the importance of training planning in this emerging sport. Methodology: The main objective was to observe whether the application of a biphasic planning, which develops the Conditioning and Determining Directions of Performance, would decrease sedentary behaviour and increase the efficiency of the competitors. Games played by both groups during fundamental competitions were analysed. Instruments such as the Cooper Test and the Psychological Status Test (PST), among others, were used. Results: Training volumes and intensities were planned individually and motivation, relaxation, concentration and activation techniques were applied to maintain a healthy psychological state. Results showed a measurable improvement in performance. Conclusions: The study takes a first step towards generating scientific knowledge on e-sports training, highlighting the importance of exercise to improve performance in competitors.
