UMA Mapeamento da Vulnerabilidade e Resiliência: Análise Espacial e Estratégias de Mitigação para a Violência Cultural contra Mulheres e Crianças

Resumo

Introdução: Este estudo mapeia a vulnerabilidade à violência e os mecanismos de resiliência entre mulheres e crianças na cidade de Sorong, sudoeste de Papua. Metodologia: utilizou-se uma abordagem de métodos mistos com um desenho paralelo convergente. Dados quantitativos foram coletados de 696 respondentes (348 mulheres e 348 crianças) e insights qualitativos de 5 informantes. Resultados: A violência é espacialmente concentrada — as mulheres enfrentam danos físicos agrupados em centros urbanos e riscos sexuais em áreas específicas, enquanto as crianças apresentam padrões semelhantes (46,6% física; 36,8% psicológica; 2,3% sexual) e alta vulnerabilidade digital (33,0% uso sem supervisão; 33,6% conteúdo prejudicial; 27,3% cyberbullying; ~40% desconhecimento sobre como denunciar), sendo o risco para as mulheres impulsionado por trauma (39,7%), conflito familiar (45,1%) e insegurança doméstica (39,1%). Discussão: Apesar disso, as mulheres demonstram resiliência por meio da capacidade de tomada de decisão (57,2%), capacidade de recuperação (59,2%) e espiritualidade (≥ 50,9%). As crianças dependem fortemente do apoio familiar (54,6%). Um desafio constante é o acesso limitado a serviços formais (38,5% das mulheres; 31,9% das crianças conhecem os mecanismos de encaminhamento jurídico/psicológico). Conclusões: O estudo recomenda estratégias integradas de mitigação por meio de intervenções locais em áreas urbanas críticas, empoderamento econômico das mulheres através de microempreendimentos com raízes culturais, transformação de normas patriarcais e maior proteção infantil em espaços digitais — para romper o ciclo de violência e promover segurança sustentável na cidade de Sorong.
